Indira Neville has extensive experience in the area of ICT and education. In 1993 she graduated from AUT with a degree in television production, an area she worked in before completing a graduate teaching diploma in 1997. Since then she has been both a classroom teacher and ICT specialist, acting as an ICT PD cluster facilitator as well as running Digital and Discovery classrooms. In 2005 she was an e-fellow, looking at how high-end software could impact on the creativity of gifted underachievers. She received one of two NZ Microsoft Innovative teachers awards for this work.
Since 2006 Indira has been the principal of Mulberry Grove School on Great Barrier Island, an amazing place where she has had lots of challenges and adventures. |
