Leadership today is an influencing relationship: the language you use and the conversations you have profoundly influence the results you achieve.
This practical and interactive workshop will show you how to grow powerful professional conversations that improve and transform learning, with a specific focus on:
Foundations essential to success in your workplace culture;
How to use the language of influence, inquiry and collaboration for more effective relationships, collaboration and commitment;
Developing fundamental Learning Talk capabilities and skills that underpin all effective professional conversations;
Working with more complex and challenging Learning Talk capabilities such as testing assumptions, difficult conversations, and engaging in evidence-informed conversations that move student learning and teaching practice forward.
From this workshop, you can expect to take away a wealth of practical skills, tools, strategies and processes that you can directly apply to your own leadership role, and use with others to move learning forward in your particular setting.
The course fee excludes GST and is discounted because participants are required to buy the
series of resources by Joan, which form an integral part of the course. Contact us for more information.
