Middle Leadership Impact

Growing Your Influence as a Leader

As a middle leader, your impact is no longer measured solely by what you do by yourself, but by what you enable others to achieve.

This programme is designed for current and aspiring middle leaders who are ready to expand their influence, strengthen their leadership practice, and maximise their impact across their team and school.

Through four full-day workshops, supported by online learning and practical tools, participants will develop the capabilities that matter most for leading people and improvement.

  • Building High-Performing Teams: create the conditions for teams to thrive through clear expectations, shared purpose, trust, and productive collaboration.
  • Leading Professional Conversations: develop confidence in giving feedback, coaching others, addressing challenges early, and navigating difficult conversations with clarity and care.
  • Leading Change and Improvement: build momentum for improvement, create ownership, work effectively with resistance, and turn good intentions into sustained action.
  • Creating Accountability and Culture: strengthen follow-through, maintain high standards, and foster an open-to-learning culture where people feel both supported and challenged to do their best work.

Along the way, you will gain practical leadership tools and productivity strategies to help you manage competing priorities, make better decisions, run effective meetings, and maintain your own wellbeing. Whether you are leading a syndicate, department, curriculum area, or strategic initiative, this programme will help you grow your influence, strengthen your leadership, and increase your impact.
