Dr. Jeni Wilson
LEARNING STRATEGIES
Dr Jeni Wilson is an associate of the Faculty of Education at the University of Melbourne. Jeni also works as a private consultant in schools delivering professional development programs related to innovative and reflective teaching and learning, inquiry based integrated curriculum, student centred learning, assessment and reporting. She works with teachers planning and trialling new ideas in classrooms.

Jeni is an experienced speaker who has been invited to speak throughout Australia and overseas. For example, she has worked with Singapore teachers trying to implement curriculum to incorporate higher order thinking and has worked with several clusters of schools in New Zealand.

Jeni is the co-author of many teachers reference books, several children's books and teacher resource materials, for example: Focus on Inquiry (with Lesley Wing Jan), Learning Links (with Kath Murdoch), Integrated Assessment, Thinking for Themselves, Self-Assessment for Students and Contracts for Learning (with Lynda Cutting). She is the series editor of Little books with big ideas. Jeni has co-written 5 of these titles on cooperative learning, a constructive classroom environment, learning contracts, learning centres & questioning. Many of these publications are sold in Canada, Japan. New Zealand, England, Asia, America and elsewhere. Soon to be released: Smart Thinking (with Lesley Wing Jan) and Learning for Themselves (with Kath Murdoch).
