Arnika Macphail is an accomplished educator, the Co-Founder and Managing Director of ImpactEd.

With a Master’s degree in Education endorsed in Leadership and nearly two decades of experience in the education technology sector, Arnika is passionate about building leadership capability and driving positive change in schools. She has worked with major global technology companies including Microsoft, AWS, Google, HP, and Apple, maintaining a sharp focus on fostering a balanced and mindful relationship with digital tools.

Her current work rigorously explores empowering individuals to use AI productively and ethically, the societal impact of persuasive technologies, and designing strategies that enhance professional productivity while safeguarding wellbeing. Arnika explores this whilst also focusing on practical applications of AI in instructional design, ethical considerations for AI, and the vital integration of digital wellbeing. As well as her Masters degree, her deep expertise is underpinned by her postgraduate studies in eLearning and Digital Technologies.
