Our job is to inspire and energise teachers to unlock their tamariki’s confidence
The William Pike Challenge
The William Pike Challenge is a programme that inspires year 6 + tamariki to step outside their comfort zone and charge into the world with more confidence. Over the last decade, the WPC has transformed the lives of more than 30k young New Zealanders, helping them to build their resilience, wellbeing, confidence and skills through outdoor adventures, community service and passion projects.
Our vision is to see tamariki stepping outside of their comfort zones and into the world with more confidence. We’re stoked to see this vision come to life in 2024 with 125 schools participating in the William Pike Challenge across Aotearoa.
Our job is to inspire and energise teachers to unlock their tamariki’s confidence, and we provide the support, resources and inspiration to enable this. Numbers are limited for 2025, download a guide here to learn more.
